Lady Liberty. She is our treasure, a symbol of our freedom, and a statue of our symbols.
She is also a prime target of terrorists. The frightening truth is that right now dozens of terrorists and Al Quizno operatives are plotting to destroy the greatest symbol of statues ever built.
But they can't harm her if they can't find her.
That is the goal of the FLRP. We are asking the Federal Goverment to begin a massive public works project to dissassemble and hide The Statue Of Liberty, and eventually all of our nation's great monuments.

Under Phase One the FLRP would move swiftly and secretly.
Beginning at dusk, trained FLRP workers would arrive at Liberty Island by boat.
By cover of night, they would carefully dissassemble her, following Auguste Bartholdi's original construction plans in reverse. Modern equipment would allow the entire operation to be completed in a single night.
The pieces would then be packed into unmarked shipping crates, leaving our Lady looking as new as the day she stepped off the boat from France.
By sunrise the entire statue would be gone.
Just in time for old Osama to get the morning papers!
